Summer Project Rubric

posted Jul 16, 2014, 6:24 PM by Angie Garrison   [ updated Jul 16, 2014, 6:34 PM ]

Please see the attached rubric for your summer Big Book of Lessons.  The project is worth 110 points, and the rubric tells you how it will be graded.  This rubric is meant to complement your summer reading assignment sheet.  If you're uncertain about something on the rubric, go back and check your assignment sheet to see if it will clarify the issue.  Remember, the project is due the first day of school, or you may be asked to leave the class and enroll in an on-level English I class.

Questions are welcome via my email: agarrison@skiatookschools.org.

Summer Reading 2014

posted May 21, 2014, 5:10 PM by Angie Garrison   [ updated Jul 16, 2014, 6:01 PM ]

If you are enrolled in Pre-AP English I for 2014-2015, you'll be reading To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee.  You will also complete a project.  See attached for project directions.  Also, if you have enrolled over the summer, please be sure to sign the contract and return it to the counseling office.

(Please note the error on the Pre-AP I Summer Reading Project sheet.  It should read that you will be asked to transfer into an on-level English I class, not English II.  Thanks.)
